  • Check-in and check-out Is it possible to check in after 22.00 h?

    You are welcome to check in late in the evening. Our night porter looks forward to seeing you.

  • Check-in and check-out Are there restrictions regarding check-in and check-out times in the hotel?

    We ensure that your room is available at 15.00 h at the day of arrival and we kindly ask to leave the room until 11.00 h at the day of departure.

  • Check-in and check-out Is it possible to use the room after 11.00 h on the day of departure?

    Yes. If the room is available, late check-out is possible and you can use the room until 16.00 h at a surcharge of € 50.00. However, please note that in July, August, and December late check-out is not possible.

  • Check-in and check-out May I extend my stay?

    If you wish to extend your stay, please contact the reception team. They will check the avaiable capacitiy and look for a room for you.

  • Check-in and check-out How can I access the underground carpark or the outdoor parking spaces?

    When you arrive by car you are welcome to use our short-term parking spaces to check in. On check-in we inform you about available spaces in the underground carpark and outdoor parking spaces.

  • Children Do children pay the full price or do you grant a discount?

    Prices according to age are as follows:

    • 0–2 years free in the baby cot
    • 3–12 years € 30.00 per night incl. breakfast
    • 13–99 years € 50.00 per night incl. breakfast
  • Children Do you provide baby cots and a small “baby kit”?

    Yes, we will be pleased to provide a baby bed, bottle warmer, changing mat and footstool free of charge.

  • Conferencing Is it possible to hold meetings/conferences in the hotel?

    Yes. Please contact our reception team.

  • E-mobility Can I charge my electric car or a Tesla in the hotel?

    Yes, in our underground carpark three Tesla Wall Connectors are available. One of the units can also be used to charge electric cars of other manufacturers. The duration of the charging process depends on the respective vehicle’s state of charge. Average charging takes between three and seven hours. Please note that using the Tesla Wall Connectors is reserved for guests who stay overnight. In case of overnight stays they can be used free of charge.

  • Food and drink Is it possible to have dinner delivered to the room?

    No, we do not offer room service. You are welcome to have dinner in our restaurant Columbus, and you my take something to your room.

  • Food and drink How much is breakfast in your house?

    If you book directly with us or via our website, our breakfast is € 16.00 per person/day. If you book via a third party, e.g. booking.com, HRS, etc., we charge € 19.00 per person/day.

  • Leisure Are guided city tours bound to seasons?

    No, you can explore Flensburg in guided walks through town all year long.

  • Leisure Can I rent a bicycle from the hotel?

    Yes, no problem. Just ask our reception team. Ladies‘ bicycles and gents‘ bicycles are available for a rental fee of € 10 per person/day. The rental fee for a child trailer is also € 10/day.

  • Luggage Can we leave our luggage in a luggage room?

    Yes, you are welcome leave your luggage in our luggage room.

  • Luggage Do you retain lost property?

    Yes. Please call us. We ask your understanding that for reasons of data privacy we must not contact you.

  • Parking Do you have parking facilities?

    We offer a limited number of parking spaces for € 9.00 per night in our underground carpark and on the outside areas.

  • Payment types Do you accept credit cards?

    Yes, in addition to EC cards we accept Mastercard, VISA Card, American Express sowie Diners, and JCB.

  • Payment types Is payment by invoice possible?

    If you are a business guest and your company confirms that they assume responsibility for the cost, indicating the type of cost covered, we will send the invoice after check-out.

  • Pets Are pets permitted in the hotel?

    You are welcome to bring your four-legged friend. We charge € 10.00 per day and provide feeding bowl, goodies, and a towel.

  • Rooms Are there different room categories in the hotel?

    Yes, we have five different room categories.

  • Rooms Is there a tea and coffee station in the rooms?

    All Quartier-class rooms and the Kayser’s Suite are furnished with a De’Longhi espresso machine and a kettle. The other room categories are not provided with these appliances, but guests can always get a coffee or a tea in our Columbus Restaurant.

  • Rooms Do you have a family room?

    Six of our 21 rooms of the Bark category can be combined using a connection door. Thus we have a total of three family rooms. A family room can accommodate max. four adults, two children up to 12 years, and two babies.

  • Rooms Is an ironing room available?

    No, but we can bring an iron and an ironing board to your room.

  • Rooms Do I have to bring my hairdryer?

    No, all bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer.

  • Rooms What can I do if I forgot my toothbrush or my shaver?

    For the minor emergency we have taken precautions and we will be pleased to help you.

  • Rooms Are foreign TV programmes available?

    Yes, we offer Danish and English TV channels.

  • ROOMS Can I borrow additional pillows or heat cushions?

    Upon request we provide additional pillows, neck support pillows, or cherry pit pillows. Please ask our reception team. For a cherry pit pillow we have to ask for a deposit of € 20.00. Alternatively you are welcome to purchase a cherry pit pillow for € 20.00.

  • ROOMS Are Sky TV programmes available?

    In addition to conventional TV channels we offer a selection of Sky programmes (without German Bundesliga soccer).

  • Smoking Do you also offer smoking rooms?

    All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. However, you may smoke in our courtyard or on the arcades and outside corridors. If on your departure we should detect that someone smoked in the room, then we will have to charge € 130.00 for the extensive additional cleaning eff ort required.

  • Wellness Do you have a wellness area in the hotel?

    Yes, the hotel has a wellness deck with sauna and two cardio machines. Massages can be booked at a charge.

  • Wellness When is the wellness deck open?

    The sauna area is open every day between 14.00 h and 21.30 h. Massages are possible between 13.00 h and 19.00 h and the fitness equipment can be used from 7.00 until 21.30 h. If you wish to book a massage, please contact our crew on the wellness deck beforehand.

  • Wellness Are bathrobes and sauna towels available?

    For your visit on the wellness deck we provide a wellness bag with bathrobe and a pair of slippers. Please leave the wellness bag in your room when you check out. Sauna towels are readily available on the wellness deck.

  • Wellness May the wellness deck also be used by guests from the region who do not stay at the hotel?

    Yes, hotel guests und and guests from the region are welcome to enjoy all massage treatments. After your treatment you may also use our Finnish sauna.
